Frontiers

One of the world's leading open science platforms puts a focus on Japanese Beetle research! Frontiers has launched the research topic "Focus on Popillia japonica" in its Open Access Journal "Frontiers in Insect Science". The aim is to compile the latest findings in P. japonica research in one special issue, which will be a key resource of knowledge for the development of an IPM strategy against this invasive pest.

We are proud to announce that two scientists of the IPM-Popillia consortium, Giulia Torrini from CREA, Italy, and Giselher Grabenweger from Agroscope, Switzerland, serve as Topic Editors of this research topic, and the Topic Coordinator, Daniel Potter from Kentucky University, is a member of IPM-Popillia's external advisory board.

The editors welcome submissions of original research, opinion, perspective, or review articles that examine aspects of P. japonica invasion ecology and management. Find more info on the journal's website
